It was a rainy Thursday evening in the city, but that didn’t stop Maverick Social Club members from coming out to the Maverick to enjoy an evening of fashion, food and cocktails along with Soren Custom.
Guests mingled in the Maverick Social while they tasted Treeline Catering canapes and sipped on Bourbon Sours and Old-Fashioned cocktails by Founder’s Original. DJ Alexandra set the mood for the night with tunes as guests waited for the Fall Fashion Soiree runway show to begin.
Models made their way through the Maverick while Soren Custom’s Ellis Tagoe shared fall trends and styling tips with guests, inspiring them on how to pair different fabrics, prints and textures to make it truly unique look. “Fall fashion means heavy wools and fabric with character. The fabric line up for the 2018/19 fall winter has heavy check patterns, but also concentrated on solid colours with tons of texture. Basket weave, crosshatch and burlap are the order of the day,” Say Ellis.
Model and Canadian Actor Alex Mallari Jr. gave the crowd a Q&A on personal interests and his everyday fashion philosophies.
Models of the fashion show mingled with guests once the fashion show was over so everyone got a close up glimpse on the new collection.
I Luv Coffee‘s personal barista showcased their featured roasted coffee and espresso blends with delicate pastries to savour as the night went on. The Maverick throne was decorated with majestic flowers from Bluumblvd for a picture perfect scene. Everyone walked away with a gift bag featuring a Soren Custom Scarf, gift card to their tailored shop in Etobicoke, and more.
