Meet Designer Natalie Chong of Nest Design Studio

We challenged residential design pro Natalie Chong to help us make the most of a $10,000 design challenge for our Rain & Senses model suite.

Owner and Principal Designer at Nest Design Studio and finalist on The Search for Canada’s Next Designer, Natalie Chong specializes in smart condo design. She’s made her mark by working closely with her clients to understand how they live and use their space, and what they need to get the most joy out of their home.

Common condo design woes are nothing to this Toronto-based expert, who routinely takes on challenges like creating a workable home office in a small den, decor solutions for long entryways, livening up a stark bachelor pad and creating chic design on a budget for the savvy investor. There was no one better to turn to when it came time to tackle our design challenge.

Natalie pulled some of her favourite and most functional pieces to transform our two-bedroom, two-bathroom 952 sq. ft. model suite at Rain & Senses into a condo dwellers dream; proving that you can furnish your new suite for under $10,000 without sacrificing design and style. Check out her design inspiration below, and explore our collaborative Pinterest board for more.
