FIRE SAFETY
Units with Kidde installed combined Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector include:
Tower A & B –Ground to 4th Floors
Tower A- 5th /6th /10th /11th Floors
Tower B- 28th/29th Floors
All other units and floors have standard Kidde Smoke Detector installed.
Please do not tamper with life safety systems and inquire further with Property Management for ongoing maintenance.
LAUNDRY & VIDEO 5 MAIN SHUT OFFS
There are secondary cleanouts on ground floor laundry units only. Please refer to the maintenance manual for the ventless dryer option.

HUMIDITY
LOW HUMIDITY
Low humidity can cause a host of issues that affect not only your in-suite finishes, but also your health. During the colder months of the year it is very common for interior humidity to be very low. The optimal humidity for interior comfort and ideal flooring performance is between 35% -55%. We recommend in the colder months to purchase a humidifier to add humidity to the air when needed and also to purchase a hygrometer to monitor the interior levels.
You will notice the effects of LOW humidity in your suite when you see the following start to occur:
– Dry cupping in the floor
– Floor boards shrinking
– Gaps forming between planks and at baseboards
It is important to maintain humidity at the recommended levels as flooring issues that arise as result of improper maintenance are NOT covered under the warranty.
HUMIDITY
HIGH HUMIDITY
High humidity levels within your suite can also cause many issues to both your health and to your in suite finishes. Excess humidity is caused through daily activities such as cooking, bathing, doing laundry, dishwashing and also by having a number of household plants. The use of your exhaust fans is critical to help control the humidity levels. Always use your hood fan when cooking and use your bathroom fan when showering/bathing.
You will notice the effects of HIGH humidity in your suite if you notice the following start to occur:
– Condensation on windows, walls or ceiling
– Drywall staining and discolouration
– Musty odour
– Mould growth
Remember that damages caused by improper monitoring and lack of maintenance of interior humidity levels is NOT covered under warranty and is the responsibility of the homeowner and or tenant.
